I Thomas Trollope of the City of
London Wine Merchant do this fourteenth day of October in the
year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and
seventy six make publish and declare this my last will and
Testament in manner following that is to say First I direct
and appoint that my Just Debts and Funeral Expenses be
fully paid and satisfied and as for and concerning all and
singular my Estate both Real and personal of what nature
or kindsoever and wheresoever the same now are or shall
be at the time of my decease I give devise and bequeath
the same and every part thereof unto my four children
Thomas Daniel Trollope Marie Clare the wife of James Clare
Amelia Trollope and Arthur William Trollope their Heirs
Executors Administrators and Assigns respectively equally to
be divided between and amongst them as Tenants in Common
and not as Joint Tenants Share and Share alike and if any
or either of them shall die under the age of twenty one
years and before Marriage Then I give the Share or Shares
of him her or them so dying unto the other or others of
such Children equally to be divided amongst them if
more than one Share and Share alike and I direct that
the Interest or Profits arising therefrom be applied towards
the Maintenance and Education of such of my said Children
as shall be under the age of twenty one years untill they
shall attain respectively that age or be married And I
hereby constitute and appoint my Brother in Law John Page
of Queen Street of the City of London Merchant and my
Son in Law James Clare of the Precinct of Saint Catherine
in the County of Middlesex Gentleman Executors of this my
last will and Testament And I do hereby revoke and make
void all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time
heretofore made and declare these presents to be my only
last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand Seal the day and year first above Written
Thomas Trollope [L.S.] /-/ Signed Sealed Published and declared by
the above named Thomas Trollope as and for his last Will
and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto
subscribed our Names in the presence and at his request
and in the presence of each other /-/ Francis Matthews /-/ John Hunt

This Will was proved at London the sixth
day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand

seven hundred and eighty four before the Worshipful Andrew
Coltee Ducarel Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right
Worshipful Peter Calvert Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or
Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully
constituted by the Oath of James Clare one of the Executors
named in the said Will to whom administration was
granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits
of the said deceased he having been first sworn duly to
administer power reserved of making the like grant to John
Page the other Executor named in the said Will when he
shall apply for the same ./.
